Tweeter of The Day Wednesday 13th Jan 2010

@oxgamgb

#Haiti is the poorest country in the western hemisphere. 85% already live in poverty – this disaster is likely to have an extreme impact.

Oxfam tweeting on the very sad and alarming situation to be occurring in Hati after an earthquake has reportedly killed thousands.  Our thoughts and prayers have to be for each and every one affected by this disaster….

Quote Of The Day

I would still rather have Gordon Brown than David Cameron.

“I would rather have a Prime Minister who is the cleverest person in the room than a Prime Minister who looks good in a suit.

“David Cameron is a terrifying prospect.

“He’s a regional newsreader who will jump on whatever bandwagon flies past.

“I get quite panicked that people are buying his rhetoric, because it seems very manipulative to me.”

(Former Dr Who star David Tennant Jan 9th 2010)

Goals for 2010

Bogsphere has been full of bloogers making predictions of what is going to happen in 2010 (I may blog on this later) but I thought I would share and publish my personal five random top goals for 2010.  Here they are……..

  1. To make substantive inroads in pursuing my perceived calling into Christian ministry through study and practical experience.
  2. To try & get on top of my health issues liaising and keeping to account my local NHS, whilst ensuring I work hard at exercise and take any medical advice on board.
  3. To make more me time to read and study and to read at least twelve books in the following year.
  4. To lose at least two stone.
  5. To ensure Jo my wife & I have one evening out together a month.

So there you go, I will revisit these goals in December and see actually how well or how badly I have done……
